The Halloween Special

BEN: The movie that started Blue Dragon Studios' Halloween tradition. We've released a thematically-appropriate film every October 31st since!

KEVIN: You want to say something that, y'know, describes the movie a bit? That might actually get people to watch it.

BEN: Sure. In this film, a young couple's relationship is threatened by a disagreement regarding the fundamental laws of attraction.

KEVIN: Wow. I stand corrected.

BEN: There's also a guy in a monkey mask killing people.

Length: 8 minutes.

Released: October 31, 2012.

Reflections: Existence

BEN: My most profound picture.

Length: 1 minute.

Released: June 4, 2012.

Indian Poker

KEVIN: Forgettable at best, racially insensitive at worst. In other news, my association with this company continues to be a source of deep shame.

Length: 25 seconds.

Released: May 1, 2012.

KEVIN: Ben shot out my eye and then got upset with me because I complained about it. I guess this movie is a decent encapsulation of the Blue Dragon Studios dynamic.

BEN: Eyesore features the work of makeup artist Mallory Thokey!

Length: 1 minute.

Released: April 26, 2012.

Ultra Cop

BEN: There are good police. Then there's ULTRA COP.

Length: 1 minute.

Released: April 24, 2012.

Castlevania: Dirge of Ineptitude

BEN: If you like Castlevania, you might get a kick out of it. If you don't know what a "Castlevania" is... you might like the costumes!

Length: 2 minutes.

Released: April 1, 2012.

Blind Date: Making the Robot

ROBO: Witness the pinnacle of human achievement: my creation.

Length: 6 minutes.

Released: March 5, 2012.

Blind Date

BEN: I think we've all been in this situation. You're on a date, things are going well, then BAM! Your robot starts acting up.

ROBO: I have not been in this situation.

BEN: Blind Date marks ROBO's filmic debut.

ROBO: Brando. Olivier. ROBO.

Length: 7 minutes.

Released: March 1, 2012.

War Horse Review

BEN: You know, I quite liked the picture...

Length: 1 minute.

Released: February 16, 2012.

Job Interview

KEVIN: I sit in a chair and eat potato chips. To date, this remains the greatest compensation I have ever received for participating in a Blue Dragon Studios film.

Length: 1 minute.

Released: February 9, 2012.

Epoch: The Spy

BEN: They said you couldn't shoot an action movie with a DSLR. They said-

KEVIN: Cripes, can you quit your grandstanding long enough to just write a simple synopsis?

BEN: I don't know. It's kind of hard to summarize this one without giving a major spoiler.

KEVIN: What? You mean the one in the title and video thumbnail?

BEN: Fine. A spy investigates a suspected-

KEVIN: Zzzzzzzzzz. Cut to the chase! A hot chick shoots people with a silencer. There. How hard was that?

Length: 7 minutes.

Released: February 1, 2012.

Pride & Prejudice (with guns)

KEVIN: Some artists have brilliant, original ideas. Their films are challenging and often inspire the viewer to consider issues in a new or different way. Other artists settle for copying a chapter from one of the most adapted novels of all time, adding guns, and calling it a day.

BEN: Any particular artists you'd like to direct this at?

BEN: At least concede that I make a devilishly handsome Darcy.

Length: 4 minutes.

Released: January 10, 2012.

Making Pride & Prejudice (with guns)

BEN: Ever wanted to glimpse the complete Blue Dragon Studios process? Here's your chance! Follow the development of Pride and Prejudice (with guns) from concept to completion in this thoughtful, informative documentary.

Length: 12 minutes.

Released: January 10, 2012.

Canon 60D Review/Test Footage

BEN: Blue Dragon Studios regulars Kevin and Ben take their first HD camera for a spin! There are a couple minor disagreements along the way, but good friends typically let bygones be bygones.

KEVIN: In this movie, I intone, "I will never forgive you for this." I haven't, and I won't.

Length: 8 minutes.

Released: January 8, 2012.

20 Second Western

KEVIN: The bathroom reader. But one example of entertainment designed for the pooping experience. As far as I know, Blue Dragon Studios is the only company that produces material optimally suited to the peeing experience.

Length: 20 seconds.

Released: January 6, 2012.

Hamlet 2012

BEN: Our first HD movie!

ROBO: As a robot, I hold human literature in outright contempt. Yet even I understand the affront to culture Blue Dragon Studios' various adaptations represent.

Length: 1 minute.

Released: January 3, 2012.
